Bangkok Boutique Hotels

Bangkok can be overwhelming for visitors. The Thai capital is an assault on all of the body's senses and with no obvious city centre, some tourists struggle to get their bearings. To make life easier, we have divided our boutique hotels into three distinct areas of Bangkok: Chinatown, Silom and Sukhumvit

Accommodation With a Regal Touch
For those looking to stay somewhere with a bit of history and royal connections try the traditional Thai teak buildings at the Baan Thai Wellness Retreat which has hosted Thai, Scandinavian and Japanese royalty.

Boutique on a Budget
Boutique doesn't have to mean expensive. The Shanghai Mansion and Boonsiri Place in the colourful Chinatown district are discerning choices for visitors to Bangkok.

Contemporary Chic
Modern technology and old-fashioned service combine at three of Bangkok's trendiest small hotels. The Luxx and Triple Two in Silom and the Dream Hotel in Sukhumvit all provide contemporary style with a distinctly Thai twist.

Bangkok Weather
Although it's hot and humid all year round in Bangkok, the period from November-February is referred to as the cool season with lower humidity, less chance of rain and plenty of sunshine. March-June sees an increase in both heat and humidity as the city enters the hot season. The rainy season from July-October still has plenty of hours of sunshine, but the sunshine is interspersed with tropical downpours. Please don't be put off if you are considering visiting Bangkok during the rainy season. The downpours are usually short and sharp, the tourist sights are less crowded and the accommodation can be excellent value.

High Season & Low Season

Rates are often higher during the period from November-February which is the tourist high season in Thailand. Some hotels may also charge an additional premium for stays over Christmas and New Year which may include a compulsory fee for a gala dinner. Discounted rates are often available during the low season which is approximately from May-October.
