Boutique Hotels in Sukhumvit, Bangkok

Sukhumvit is home to many of Bangkok's hotels and is a firm favourite with tourists and business visitors because of the excellent transport links to the rest of the city. The Skytrain runs along Sukhumvit and makes for easy and hassle-free connections to the Chao Phraya River and many key tourist attractions.

Baan Thai Wellness Retreat

As the name suggests, the emphasis at Baan Thai Wellness Retreat is to relax body and soul. The 21 guest rooms are contained within a number of traditional Thai teak buildings with a tropical garden backdrop. Put your feet up and be pampered as you enjoy the best of both worlds; enjoy the verve of Bangkok and retreat to your oasis of calm at the Baan Thai. The original Thai teak house was designed and built in the 1940's by M.R. Bongsebrahama, grandson of King Rama IV. Other traditional buildings (themselves originating from nearly a century ago) have been lovingly restored to form more accommodation.

High class ingredients sourced from organic farms coupled with culinary expertise has seen the Baan Thai Restaurant attract royalty from Sweden, Denmark and Japan. A host of other celebrities have also dined here including Jackie Kennedy and Tiger Woods.

The Baan Thai is famous for its spa treatments, but they also offer fitness classes and personal training packages including yoga, Tai Chi, pilates and meditation.

Dream Hotel

Described as a 5-star fashion hotel, Dream is certainly a chic and trendy addition to Bangkok's accommodation scene and has established itself as one of Bangkok's best boutique hotels since its opening in 2007. With 100 rooms it almost misses out on our criteria for a boutique hotel, but the unique style, decor and ambiance make the Dream Hotel richly deserving of a listing on this site. State-of-the-art lighting, Plasma TVs and allergen-free feather bed and duvet are just some of the touches that guests appreciate as special.
